Residental Districts

The Spirit Oasis is a lush garden and pond located in a cove deep within the Northern Water Tribe's capital city. It was created by the Moon and Ocean Spirits. Although the landscape outside is perpetually frozen, the Spirit Oasis itself is warm, verdant, and inviting. It is the most peaceful and spiritual place in all of the Northern Water Tribe. The Oasis itself is part of the entrance to the Water Temple itself.

Grand Market

Deep within the temple is an area that has been left much the way it was found when the first water benders began to explore the caves. Crystal clear, glass-surfaced pools surround an underground waterfall; giving the area a sense of serene power. Used mainly for meditation and ceremony, water benders from all over the world feel an intense spiritual connection to the pools and the water within.

Healer's Compound

A special place; this room is where all the healers of the world eventually come to train and learn. Books and special scrolls line the walls of this place, as well as practice dummies worn from the hands of thousands of trainees clutter the floor. A special pool that connects directly to the deepest part of the spring below the caves exists here; allowing the trainee's the ability to focus on their healing without having to worry about causing damages from unclean or impure waters.

Harbor

Located above the Temple, high up on the top of the protective glacier of ice that keeps the city protected from the fierce winds and harsh weather of the tundra; the Fields of Ice serve as training and testing grouns for the Waterbending students to use when they need more space then is normally available within the temple or the city itself.
